Hey there! I’m Ash, the voice behind this blog.

When I first started this little corner of the internet back in 2019, it was all about my beloved bearded dragons. But life threw me a curveball, and after losing both Grimm (so suddenly) and Norman (to congestive heart failure), I haven’t quite found the heart to bring a new scaly friend into the fold. Don’t get me wrong, the possibility is still on the table, but the heartbreak is real.

I’ve dabbled in caring for reptiles, hermit crabs, fish, and dogs, and right now I’m loving life with my adorable Rottweiler/German Shepherd mix, Margot 🐾

Since life’s changed a bit, my blog has evolved, too! I’m branching out into a broader lifestyle vibe, and honestly, I’m just here to share whatever catches my interest. Expect everything from reptile care, book recommendations, travel diaries, TV reviews, and a whole lot of random thoughts.

One thing to note: I’m not a vet or a credentialed expert. This blog is all about my personal experiences and how I care for my pets (from scaly to furry). Not everyone does things the same way, and if you need professional advice, definitely reach out to an expert.
